Lacrimal Surgery Solutions

Address excessive tearing with targeted and effective care.

Lacrimal (Tearing) Surgery

Tears are produced in the lacrimal gland, located behind the upper eyelid. These tears travel across the surface of the eye and drain into the lacrimal duct system, which empties into the nose. Tearing is a common symptom when this system is not functioning properly. In some cases, this may lead to infection.

Both surgical and nonsurgical interventions can be performed to alleviate these problems. Because of the nature of this treatment, it may be covered by insurance.
