Skin Cancer Reconstruction Care

Restore form and function with precise reconstructive techniques.

Eyelid and Facial Skin Cancer Excision

Skin cancer is commonly seen in Florida because of increased sun exposure. Eyelid skin cancers are frequently found in the lower eyelid, but skin cancer can occur anywhere on the face. A biopsy is usually performed to confirm the diagnosis.

Early and complete surgical removal is necessary to reduce the chance of recurrence and to prevent spreading to other parts of the body. Surgical reconstruction is often performed to maintain function and restore a natural appearance. Because of the nature of this surgery, it may be covered by insurance.
